- lighting: ZZ Plant prefers a bright place with diffused sunlight. In summer, it can be placed outdoors. In winter, place the plant closer to the window, but still avoiding direct sunlight.
- watering: in spring and summer, the plant is watered immediately after the topsoil dries out. In cold season the watering is reduced. If the plant is placed in a cool place in winter, then it should be watered only after the soil from the top dries out completely.
- fertilizing: from the late spring through the summer, the plant is fed once every 15 days. Use the fertilizers for succulents and cacti. The plant does not need feeding during cold season.
- humidity: it can grow well at usual level of air humidity in the houses or offices. ZZ Plant does not require spraying the leaves, but sometimes it is necessary to arrange washing so that the plant does not become dusty and does not lose its attractiveness.
- temperature: From spring through summer the temperature for growing should be between 72 and 75°F, and in winter – about 61°F, but not lower than 54°F.
- repotting: as the plant is slow-growing, repot it when the previous pot starts to be small, as a rule, it is once every 2-4 years. Repotting is carried out in spring or summer.
