Philodendron Dragon Tail

Philodendron Dragon Tail (Rhaphidophora Decursiva or Monstera Decursiva) is an ampelous plant, which can decorate the house with its gorgeous glossy leaves. The leaves of the Philodendron Dragon Tail are deeply lobed and can resemble a dragon’s tail, hence its name. They are typically dark green and glossy, with a slightly waxy texture. Mature leaves can grow up to 1 to 2 feet long, creating a dense, bushy appearance. It has a compact growth habit, making it suitable for indoor spaces where it can be displayed as a focal point or as part of a plant collection. It grows in a clumping, spreading manner, forming multiple stems from the base. When mature and given ample space, the plant can reach a height and spread of about 3 to 4 feet. It gives some tropical accent to the house, especially if it is already a large stunning plant, as it leaves develop pinnate appearance. Philodendron Dragon Tail emits useful substances that kill pathogenic bacteria, so it is very useful to put it in the bedroom or office.
