- lighting: Money Tree prefers to grow in bright diffused light. From April to September it prefers direct sun till 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. If the leaves begin to turn yellow, it is necessary to find a place with much more light. Do not forget to regularly rotate the pot through 45 degrees, so the canopy can grow with the same strength.
- watering: water the plant through, let the soil dry out between intervals. Remove extra water from the tray under the plant to avoid rotting.
- fertilizing: the fertilizing time should be during vegetation period, that is from March to September. Use the complex mineral fertilizer once in two weeks.
- humidity: Money Tree prefers high level of air humidity, that is more than 50%. Use a humidity tray, a humidifier, or regularly mist the leaves to increase humidity levels around the plant.
- temperature: the temperature for the normal growing is from 68 to 75 °F. During winter period it is better to reduce the temperature to 61 °F. The plant can stand the temperature up to 44°F, but if it is below 32°F, the plant can die. It doesn’t stand drafts, which have negative effect on the plant.
- repotting: the repotting of the plant is made once in few years in the early spring. The pot should be just a little bigger than the previous one.
